Dance Extravaganza 2023
Jo Graham and Wanita Bowles coordinate the Dance Extravaganza part of the Music Festival.
This is an opportunity for dance items that either ‘just missed out’ on being part of the 10 concerts or for schools who have additional dance items they would like showcased in addition to the 10 concerts.
The first year’s extravaganza was such a success that it was decided to make it part of the main SSSMF program. This means interested schools are to complete Form X online by Friday 12 May 2023 - Week 3 Term 2.
In 2023 the Dance Extravaganza concerts will be held at 5.00pm and 7.00pm on Thursday 10 August and Friday 11 August 2023. The 5.00pm concerts will feature the same performances as the 7pm concerts.
Your cooperation is sought in making all relevant staff aware and then following up to make sure they have submitted items by Friday 12 May 2023 with the correct spelling of items and any teachers involved as this is how it will appear in the program.
You will be notified Week 5 Term 2 as to whether your item was successful.
